Metallic Deep Purple, large CrMo frame, SN is Yo L 2532, made in Saratoga County, NY.
Purchased frame set in late 1999 from Fat City directly, just prior to Chris' "retirement". Traded in my black Monster Fat (they wanted it back). Had a bike shop in San Diego fit it out for me.
Never raced (raced my Monster in 1989 and 1990) and ridden less than 20 times until 2002. I crashed and broke my collar bone. No damage to bike, only me.
Moved to East Coast soon after, where she's hung on my garage wall for about 15 years.
I know these are collectables because the ride is so epic. Simply the best vintage mountain bike around.
