Picked up a Slim Chance

I've been on the look out for the right slim & pulled the trigger once I found it. It should be arriving on my doorstep next Wednesday. This one is a 58cm '92 with 600 Ultegtra, STI & apparantly very few miles. Will update with some better photos once it arrives.

Nice bike! Always nice when the museum releases specimens back into the wild. I'd have grabbed it if it had a segmented fork....alas, the hunt goes on.

My 92 has campy stuff...but i like the 600 on this

I think the frame looks stellar condition wise

Nice bike- it is the twin of my 58 in yellow vs dark purple. I upgraded it with Dura-ace from another bike years ago and ride it often. You might watch out for toe overlap- depending on your shoe size. I wear 45 and have to be very careful on tight U turns. If I don't "ratchet" the cranks I will go down!

Ol Slim is lookin' fine in yella!! Looks like my handiwork on the weld beads. The tall frames had a real tricky area in the seatstay cluster that I had to teach myself how to weld left-handed.
Take good care of it
