Found the brand new Chris King 1" threaded at the LBS and my O.G shimano DX was a bit loose so why not for $150! Then had to tear apart the 1996 Judy XC rebuild the cartridge and replace the elastomers with springs. Next might be the wheel set? FIR front with Nukeproof titanium hub and Paul skewer. Bontrager rear with xtr m900 hub & skewer...both true and smooth but rim wear. Had the wheels spun up with purple nipples before the bike left the shop in 1994 but smashed the rear a few years later and love to get back to a matching set of black rims. Otherwise its my only ride right now and looking for another project.
