She is a liar and a thief. I purchased a bike from her on ebay, contacted her a few days afterwards inquiring about when she was shipping, she responded and said it had been dropped off for shipping. The bike never showed up, she refused to answer my requests for tracking info. Weeks past, and she never refunded me my money or shipped the bike.

AVOID.

Weird, I dealt with a guy named Brian at this ebay username. We managed a deal outside of ebay and everything went great.

Weird first post. Anything to do with this site, or are you carpet bombing?

Why don't you call the police? They were incredibly effective when the same thing happened to me.

They can call Obama if they want. Fact is they got a refund 2 days before joining this site. Yes I dropped the bike off at a shop to be boxed. Where it still sits. I've had personal family issues that have got in my way on a lot of things. That's my problem. However he got refunded his $162 a while ago. Also if anyone is local they can have the bike.FREE It's a Titus soft tail frame with some parts

I know I've sold and perhaps even bought things from you on numerous occasions over the last few years and never had an issue.

**** happens sometimes. It's a saying for a reason.

Reputation intact.

This is absolute BS. I just got refunded the money FROM ebay, because I opened a case and you ignored all attempts to contact, ebay closed the case in my favor. You refused to even respond to any attempt to contact you. You are a liar plain and simple. Why didn't you ship the bike after you said you did? why didn't you ever contact me to tell me what the F was going on. You sir act much more like Obama than myself.

1. Sounds like an ebay sale, not a Fatcogs sale. You weren't a member here, and only signed up to air your drama, which you've done under the General Fat Chance discussion. It has nothing to to with Fat Chance, or Fatcogs, and this thread doesn't belong here.

2. Individual people selling on eBay are not retail stores with dedicated sales staff to cater to your every need. They are usually people with busy lives clearing out old stuff, as they can find a minute to do so. If you bought a Titus full suspension frame set for under $200, that's beyond a steal. You're not going to get handholding and the champagne room treatment for that price. If you want the sale to go smoothly, you pay the money, don't pester the seller, wait patiently for as long as it takes, and be appreciative when a $3000 frame shows up on your doorstep for $200. Someone paid a LOT of money to buy you that bike. Just thank them when it shows up at all. If you're impatient or need numerous emails answered, go to a store, and pay retail. That's what you're paying for.

3. This is a private matter for you and your seller to resolve. If you're going to make a big public stink against a respected collector, you'd better: 1, have very valid complaints and 2,not be a basketcase about it. Sellers are already on the losing end of every ebay transaction by ebays own design, to attract buyers, and doubly so when they refund you and cancel a sale. They still get socked with a pile of fees and have wasted time and still have to sell the thing they spent the last 3 weeks trying to sell on the bloody site. You're not out anything but your expectation of getting something for nothing. This is why by the end of one of these transactions, if the seller is a human being with human emotions, who already has enough issues popping up in their life, they will rather throw the frame in the recycling bin than deal with it or you the troubled buyer, for another minute, and certainly have no interest in rewarding you with it, after all that.

If ebay were not disproportionately stacked against sellers, there would be less of these issues and animosity overall.

1. Absolutlety True, so Sue me, I'm am pissed off.
2. I get it and completely understand that, I'm not looking for a hand holding, I was being completely ignored. I was told it was shipped, it was not, weeks went by it did not come, I had reached to the seller on numerous occassions across the course of a few weeks, NO response, not even a "hey, I'm busy I'll get back to you". I opened up a "Item not received case", no response, I waited a week after that, still no response, I did some research and found this same username was on this site, and to my surprise, look who is online, browsing this forum, and can't send me a simple email letting me know whats up. I buy and sell on ebay so I get it, but i would NEVER do this to someone, it goes against my morals and character.

*This was not a $3000 frame set, it wasn't even 3000 as a whole bike new in 1997. It was worth what I paid for it as a frame with some profit to be made on some of the vintage parts that were included. Regardless, I don't care if you sold something for $160 that is worth $3000, You sold it, if you didn't want to sell it you could have cancelled the auction. Follow through on your deals.

3. Yes it is a private matter, but when your in the middle of a one sided conversation, you look for avenues to reach out and express your distaste for the situation in an environment that will get a response. and look what happened. He responded, mission accomplished.

This is a public forum, if your mods don't want this here then delete it. I simply thought that the users here might appreciate this story and possibly help them from having a similar experience as I did.
