Great ride review. Never had the chance to ride one of these sadly but my road bike days are long gone. Too many crazy drivers on UK roads mean I just stick to the countryside now.
That is the first Ti Mountainbike frame EVER sold according to GH but he made some before it ( branded as FATs ) for bike shows in 85 afaik. One was stolen I believe. Its awesome she still love it and rides it. 😎

They only seemed to exist either in Japan or Germany 😆 I imported them from the latter. White isn't practical for a mountainbike but dayum it sure looks good in the sunshine 😱
I badgered Gil @ Retrodecals to make the first set 😆 I have an original FATLANTA decal set but I needed the immortal word Titanium to match the set. I keep meaning to put them on other FATs but then I like originality too 🤷🏻♂️
The early FAT Ti’s were revolutionary at the time for their design, stiffness and handling. Even today the Titanium frame technology is no better, they just have better brakes.
