Its a softer ride than my 94 Ti but sublime with the Morati Ti forks. Its like they were made for this frame. Salsa Ti seatpost, Moots Ti bars and a Ti stem finish things off with a lovely supple but rigid ride. Love this bike.
Specs -
Saratoga made 97 Ti frame in M/L
Morati Ti forks 415mm A-C + 5mm CK crown race spacer
CK nothreadset
CK classic hubs laced with DTs on 217 rims
XTR 970 Ti casette
Salsa Ti Regulator Proto seatpost ( 1st in UK )
Salsa Ti clamps and skewers
Moots Ti Riser bar
Roox Ti stem
XT thumbies ( tried other thimbies but I just love the originals )
Paul Components Motolites lighter holey version
Paul Components Love Levers
Ti Flite
M970 XTR pedals or Bullseye Elite flats
Cook Bros RSR cranks, XTR rings all Ti bolts
Syncros Ti 127mm BB
Proshift front and rear mechs
Bullseye jockeys
Oury Grips and assorted Ti fixings
~ 20lbs
We all love bling components but often they don't really enhance the ride. This is a rare example of synergy with the frame and fork.
