This past weekend was the Mount Snow Kenda Cup race. I pretty much do this xc race every year. This year I've been racing on a 29er. As I was getting my 29er ready for the race I discovered a crack in the downtube near the gusset. Not wanting to race an a damaged frame(I like having teeth) I decided to pull out old faithful, my Ti Fat. I scambled to get it ready for the big race and even took it out for a 2hr ride to make sure it was ready to go. Its hard to go back to riding smaller wheels but my Fat came through for me. I was able to finish 4th in the Cat 1 race on a 14 year old frame go figure!!
