I mostly lurk and lust after the beautiful bike on this forum however just completed my first Slim Chance build with the help of Jay at Brick Bikes. I purchased the frame and fork from the Pros Closet and assembled the rest of the parts mostly individually. I plan to ride this one so I went with a modern campy groupset. It's been too wet to ride this weekend, however maybe this afternoon.
