Yo finally arrived

About a year ago I shipped a frame to Chistopher Igleheart to fix the usual rust problem in the seat tube. Today I finally got it and I'm really exited.

He he, his painter got a bit creative with the placement of the decals but all in all I'm very happy with the result. I'm amazed how beautiful the seat tube replacement turned out. Have almost all the parts in house to finish the build so more pics to come. To bad it's snow outside.....

Yea...I had it out in the sun and it looked beautiful. He tried to reproduce a BMW color named Sydney Blue but this is a bit brighter. Anyway, I sold the car a month ago so I don't care

Unfortunately no before pics. It's a 1994 s/m and was originally in Candy Wild Cherry. However, the previous owned (a friend of mine) stripped it after only a few months because he was bored of the color He repainted it in a green Audi color as he was working in a VW/Audi work shop at the time. It sat in his basement for several years, when he decided to build it he discovered the rust hole and sold it to me. It was in really bad condition with a big hole on the left side by the bb.
