I just picked up a Fat Chance and am told its a Team Fat Chance that I'm going to restore. Is it a Yo Eddy! Team?

I'm not sure what the fourth character is but I think its a Y. Serial number is 348Y09. So if I'm understanding this correctly the frames age is 1990?

Color: Hot Pink, team violet, hot green... it was the early 90's!

The color is called "Team jersey" in the cataloge. I have one to, with a MAG20 fork and size SM. I always wanted a rigid fork for it...

A very nice Iron! Just great!

Modified head tube to 1 1/8th

I've been told its a team... 89

Also having trouble tracking down decals for a spray job revamp.. any clues. Tried groovycycles but have had no response....

That serial # is probably a "Team Comp" not a Yo Eddy.

old Monster for frame registry

Frame type (Yo!, Wicked, etc.): Monster
Frame number: 18398W
Year of manufacture: 1989 or 1990, maybe even 1991*
Frame size: 19.5"
Color (original and repainted, if applicable): black with green decals
Location (city, state, country): currently Cambridge, MA, USA***
Owner name: Seth Young (original owner**)
Photo, if possible: see attached

* Was '89 the first Monster offering? I seem to remember, hazily, that this was among the first Monsters, that I did not have a color option, that the frame shipped with a cheap set of components, and that it was a Wicked with different decals -- but I can't recall any of these details clearly or remember the year, unfortunately.
** I purchased via Silverdale Cyclery (Silverdale, WA) when I was an employee there. I scrapped most of the components that came with it and built it myself, then, mostly from scratch. Many parts from that original build have survived, including -- incredibly -- the original pressed-in bottom bracket, which only now needs to be replaced.
*** This frame has been used for off road competition in Washington state and sport and heavy commuting (see photo) in Washington, Oregon, and the Boston area.

Blue Wicked

Frame type: Wicked
Frame number: 809W01
Year of manufacture: 1991ish
Frame size: 19ish
Color: Metallic blue - dark but not so dark
Location: Originally purchased Salt Lake City, UT but now in Oregon
Owner name: Steve

I bought this frame new in the early 90s and built it with all XT, King headset, etc. I recall having the bike called "old" in about 1995 when I had just ridden to the top of the Snowbird (UT) tram. It's still going good, sometimes commuting, sometimes trail riding. ONLY NOW have I even considered getting a FS bike for off road.

Will post some pics and the build card soon. Original paint and decals are intact (but have taken a beating).

That price is what the nicest of the nice ones sell for.....you can upload up to four pics on craigslist. You might have better luck if you took a couple decent pictures and listed the parts that are on it.

Here is an example that has been on craigs for MONTHS now at a similar price and not sold, though with a much better done ad:
