Hi again. I will be up there the 1st through 3rd. Just wanted to double check that the fork is a 1" diameter steerer tube. I noticed you registered your frame and I believe it would be a later model and was made in NY. I believe those had 1-1/8 steerers. Just wanted to double check so I am not wasting your time.

Happy Birthday!
My Bday is 10/17 also. I visit this site about once a year when I get my happy bday email. I end up nerding out pretty good for a few hours each time. I have an 87' I bought original when I was 14. I worked a full summer at a bike shop and had some bar-mitzva money saved up to pay off the balance. I still have the bike and love tooling around on it as a townie. Its pretty beat up but I just cant get myself to part with it. Any how, Happy trails, until next year!

It's Eli. You just bought my buck shaver.
I had forgotten about this site. Even though I used to be fairly active here.
There may be pictures on here somewhere of the little buck shaver built up...

I have some stuff to do tonight but I can take pictures of everything tomorrow.
The salsa stem is 1" ahead. Old school fro-mo. Measured c-to-c its about 60mm with maybe 5 degrees of positive rise. 25.4mm bar clamp of course.
The race face cranks are the old forged ones in black 170mm 98x54 bcd.

I never had any decals, nor any luck finding them. The ones on the bike were pretty much gone when I got it.
